Although assigned by the ISU, Skate Canada technical specialist David will be on the panel for the pair event. David has been an official for eight years and has been an active technical specialist since the position was introduced in 2004. David, a former competitive pair skater, was the Canadian novice pair bronze medalist in 1998 and the Canadian junior pair silver medalist in 1999. David represented Canada on the ISU Junior Grand Prix circuit, winning a bronze medal at the 1999 event in Montreal. David trained at the Mariposa School of Skating under Lee Barkell.
