Sarah Meier was born on May 4, 1984 in Bulach, Switzerland.  She first started skating in 1988 and she currently trains with Eva Fehr and Mark Pepperday at the Bulacher Eislaufclub. She is a seven-time Swiss National Champion winning her first title in 2000.  She won her first ISU Junior Grand Prix title in 2000 at the Czech Skate.  She won her first Grand Prix title in 2006 at the Cup of Russia event and she qualified for the 2007 ISU Grand Prix Final where came in third overall.  She won the ISU Junior World Bronze Medal in 2000.  She has made eight appearances to the ISU European Championships winning two silver medals in 2007 and 2008.  Sarah is the first lady from Switzerland to medal at the ISU EuropeanChampionships in 26 years when she won the silver medal in 2007. Her highest placement at the ISU World Championships is 6th overall and she skated at the 2002 and 2006 Winter Olympic Games.
